is it ok to take a few months past expiry date? heard its ok for up to a year after the expiry date has anyone else heard this?

Has any one every seen Cidoteston with out exp dates and mfg date on the label? then Batch number statrs with a one just no dates on it. i have never seen that before. my friend says his brother brought it back from Europe
