New Member with a few Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) questions

Husa- It's not necessarily the more the better mentality. You simply must get dialed in & it can take some time to find the sweet spot. You can take 750 ng/dl & feel like crap. Think of it as a recipe, you can't simply add a large quantity of flour or cinnamon & expect it to taste better...

New Member with a few Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) questions

My opinion is that is a healthy amount of T to be taking without having any Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I would seriously reconsider until you had enough Aromatase inhibitor (AI) in hand.

I do not have iron issues. I have not seen anything related to iron issue. May want to perform a search or better yet, start a new post with this question. Surely you are not alone.

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

Understood. Since I had success at it (HSA), then it would appear to me that it should work for others. Anyhow, I had you pinned for a computer science kind of guy ie...Very accurate, no room for errors, loves to read, type & respond. This explains your personality which is easier to look...

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

We are going to have to agree to disagree on about providing the advice. If I feel like sharing a personal experience & someone decides to try it themselves...well, that's up to them. Megatron, with all respect I really believe there is a lot of good in you & I have seen you & Halfwit write a...

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

To the best of my memory you do not lose the money if it is not used within the year concerning the HSA. However the same can't be said for a Flex Spending account. I attended a meeting at work today & was told that a new rule would extend from December 31st to sometime in March for FSA's...

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

First let me say that from what I read you without a doubt appear to be right/correct. So awesome work Googlemister. Sounds like my accountant did fine. No worries, he is insured to pay any associated penalties plus interest which is why I utilize him. In the mean time I will continue to...

I contacted IMT and they did not give me a call?

Todd has returned my phone call every time I have left a message. The same applies to any text that I have sent. The man even called just to see if all was well when he was in California. I couldn't ask anything more of him.

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

My deductible is $500 per dependent or $1,300 per family. I allotted $2,000.00 to my HSA for 2012 & 2013. My taxes were filled out by my accountant & I was given credit for the tax benefits, therefore I would believe anyone that has a similar deductible would qualify for the HSA account & if...

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

I'm not debating having to have a qualifying high-deductible health insurance plan but, I have never heard that mentioned before or it being a requirement. I just called around to a couple of banks & credit unions to find out if they offered HSA accounts & opened one. Nobody ever even...

    joint pain???

    1. Are you on cholesterol medicine? Statin is notorious for causing joint pain. 2. Have you changed your work out routine lately & performing certain exercises incorrectly ie... I know many that stopped locking their elbows on benching & pain was resolved after a duration. 3. If you increased...

    Donating blood when on TRT!

I believe I read on here that apheresis brings down your hematocrit the most. Could be mistaken.

If I decide to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on my own??

Give Todd (IMT) a call & he will answer any questions that you have. I started with a Endo through insurance. My experience with a Dr. is that they start you out on a very small dose & string you along ie.. The Dr. may prescribe 100 ng/dl every two weeks & then state after 6 weeks to come in...

How long does the weight gain last?

I hope you get dialed in for sure but, as long as you follow 3J's advice to the "T" I'm certain you will see great results that others have. Good Luck & hang in there.
