Thanks for the input buddy!
That is WAY more meds than what im looking at. Want to get opinions from the "less is more" advocates in regards to HPTA. Read a lot on it and see what people here think. Never been on a blast and cruise. I think its a "natural" shutdown.
Hi all!
Hoping i can get your expertise!
Day 1-42 (6 weeks): hCG 250iu eod.
Day 1-42 (6 weeks): Anastrozole 0.5mg/week in divided doses.
Day 43: Test fT and E2.
Day 44 (or whenever results arrive): Receive lab results. If T is still low, stop here and do TRT. If T is good, do the...
Ok. Done a little research and im looking at 2 HPTA restart protocols:
1. A restart attempt with HCG only.
2. A restart attempt with SERM only.
3. A restart attempt which starts with HCG and ends with SERM.
Method 1: HCG 250iu eod for 5 weeks.
Method 2: Nolva 20mg eod for 5 weeks (then...
If the culprit is indeed the thyroids, would HTPA therapy bring things back to normal with the thyroids, hence "masking" the issue? Or would it not effect the thyroids if it is a not a "casualty" (victim), like you said?
Alright. Doc isnt OKing ultrasound, which means i'm gonna have to pay out of pocket. Just wondering...how likely is the T issue to be caused by thyroid? Thinking of holding off on the thyroid ultrasound, start with HCG first and see if that fixes things. Would there be any downside to starting...
Thanks for your input halfwit...and everyone else. I did test prolactin its 16.7 (3.46 - 19.4) ng/mL. I had a whole bunch of tests done. It's all in the OP. What do the levels tell you?
What protocol do you suggest?
Thought about that. But really, how much difference is getting down to %17 bf going to make T wise? My T levels are below the already crappy lab ranges.
I'm more concerned about my T levels atm. I want to deal with that first, then get to they thyroids issue...
Hey all,
Looking to start TRT but want to see if i could first find the underlying cause of my low t levels, and cure. I'm thinking of an HPTA restart but then i'm wondering if it will achieve anything since my LH & FSH are at normal levels. Appreciate any help!
