While giving my testosterone injection today in thigh, I forgot to clean the top of the vial with the alcohol swab. Should I be worried for a bacterial infection? any cream or something I can apply to the injection site to prevent it? pls help - I am panicking a bit :(

It seems to be an allergic reaction to the oil / preservatives, because I got a red itch on the injection site which went away after a day. Any solution to this?

your SHBG is quite low for a weekly protocol...You will definitely see better results by slitting the injection into twice a week (or even better will be EOD). You are probably clearing the testosterone very soon due to low SHBG.

I am about to get on TRT and my doc prescribed me 1000mg testosterone undecanoate every 10 weeks, but I do not want to get on that protocol and would ideally want to see split my dose weekly (i.e. 100 mg every week) to have more stable testosterone and estradriol levels. I have very low SHBG...

Also you have very low SHBG (similar to mine), and hence you might be clearing out testosterone faster than normal guys. Guys with low SHBG need to do more frequent injections (atleast twice a week) from what I have understood.

I have similar SHBG, hence am skeptical about getting on weekly Test E which I know will not be enough. Don't want to inject more frequently than that as I travel most weeks for work. Hence the need for Test Undec - which I feel would anyways be a much better ester for low SHBG guys like us...

Have you ever tried testosterone undecanoate? What were the results with that ester? Any specific reason to up the dosage? Generally the dosage AFAIK is 100 mg weekly irrespective of the ester, the type of the ester then decides the frequency of injections. or is is that with the Testosterone...
