I just went from Ohio to Maui with 2 vials and a handful of needles in my carry on. Never questioned once. This was 2 months ago. My son got stopped entering Maui airport for a bag check because of rocks and shells he was taking home to Ohio. Actually I've flew to north Carolina the same way...
