I've got more fat than muscle under my skin and although I want to be much bigger than I am now, I first want to lose some and put it back on slowly and in a more sensible way.

How does this ten day eating plan sound to you guys?

Lunch: 2 chicken fillets (nothing else)
Dinner: chicken fillets & 1 fish (nothing else)

and 4 protein shakes throughout the day including 1 for breakfast.

Do you think I can lose a good bit in 10 days?

Awful Plan. Sorry but got to be honest - If you have enough sense to know that you need to take some off and be more sensible putting it back on you should know that this is a bad idea.

1.) You need Carbs - How much is dependent on your body.
2.) You need the majority (at least 4 out of 6 meals to be whole foods)
3.) If you want to take the weight off it should be over more than 10 days or the majority is going to be LBM lost.

Do some more research and get back to us.

I agree u need more whole foods in there bro

also are u going to do cardio why not try a reducing your carbs say no carbs after 6pm

or reduce carbs to only your pre workout, post work out shake and the meal after that.

I'd start with cleaning up your carbs and eating more complex carbs then eliminating carbs later at night a minimum of 3 hours before bed. Except for fast acting carbs immdiatley following your workout.

superman_uk: I know that others give low-carb a hard time, but it is an effective way to loose weight (both water and fat weight). It is also true that you need carbs. But the whey protein contains some carbs; more than advertised, I believe. There is also this thing the our bodies do called gluconeogenesis, which gives us carbs. I'm just playing the devil's advocate here. I could argue this from either side (pro low-carb or anti low-carb) because both sides make some good points.

One thing that most of us agree to is that we should emphasize complex carbs rather than simple carbs.

I absolutely cannot argue with what DirkMoneyshot said about ten days being too short of a time period. You want to reduce your fat, not your muscule, I assume. 1 pound of fat contains something like 3500 calories. It takes awhile to burn that off.

I agree with you guys. Carbs are needed too not lose muscle. Just eat clean carbs like oatmeal and brown rice and you can lose the weight. It should be by how good you look and not by the scale. Most people do the low carb to take the weight off fast, but it is better in the long run to use a longer diet with some carbs to keep gains.
