4 Months into TRT

Had my checkup with my doc the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see my total T at 960 6 days after last injection and my free t somewhere around 275. Sad note my hemoglobin was a little high.. so he wants to back me down from 200mg/week to 150mg/week or.. I can just go donate blood. Other than that everything looked great, and i'm feeling great.

Though i've gained 13lbs over 3 months.. only going to the gym 2x-3x a week.

I'll request a copy of all the blood work and post it up when I get it.

what you need to do is separate the doses into two shots, reduce the single dose size to below 150 will greatly reduce impact on blood work, as it does not cause increased red blood cell production from bone marrow

Fantastic turnaround! It's nice being able to function like a man again; waking up feeling "new", being able to actually put on muscle again while losing that fat - then giving the missus what she needs at five in the morning, isn't it? Who would have known that the fountain of youth came in a little 10mL glass vial? HAPPY TUESDAY!

Oh, and definitely get on that donation. If your hematocrit/CBC get too high, they tend to prescribe you "therapeutic blood draws" which is the same damn thing as donating, but they DESTROY your blood, instead of giving it to someone in need! Grinds my gears that docs don't tell you that stuff BEFORE you start TRT.

Interesting, I will look into doing 2x starting next week then. I have a follow up hemoglobin test in may. I'll split it into 100 2x and see how I do at the end of may. Then I have a follow up end of july with blood work the prior week to seeing him again. I also have a privatemd labs to use that i'll hit up in june to see how I am doing.

I wasn't "high" high I was .8 over the range. i can't remember the range that quest diagnostics gave. I'll follow up when I get a copy of the bloodwork.

Yes, get used to donating blood. I'm typically on 200 per week (100, 2x per week) and I still need to donate every 2-3 months or I go out of range for hemo.

Congrats!! I was never told about that issue either. It wasn't until I showed Dan from IMT my tests and regimine from local doc that I got that whole donate blood ASAP and why I had too. Either way its nice to hear people having positive results.

I'm not one for taking a lot of additional supplements but he had me increase my vit D to 10k IU/day suggested I try Vessel health Guard.. and Astraxanthin.. few days after being on this stuff and to be honest.. I felt good but I feel uber good now, kinda hard to explain

Congrats Supdstr. I'm less than 1 week into my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol at 100 MG Test C twice per week, HCG, Pregnenelone/DHEA Cream, and Anastrozole.

Just wondering: (1) how is your libido; (2) how is your morning wood and (3) how long it took you to start feeling better?

Thanks and congrats again!!!

libido shot like a rocket 2 weeks into it and then died off around week 5 its been good for the most part. the wife was all.. "what the hell has gotten into you" during that 3 week period. I was on testim for a month before i switched to shots. I felt better about week 3 onto testim and its gotten better. I would say now 4 months into it i'm feeling pretty chipper and a lot more energy and motivation.

Morning wood.. sometimes it happens sometimes not. if it does it usually goes away rather quickly after i wake up.

I am only on test C, not doing HCG. .. I already have fertility problems and we did IVF.. we have one kid and don't want another so i'm good in that department. Consider yourself lucky your doctor gave you an Aromatase inhibitor (AI). Mine wont.. doesn't like to do it.. So I went and got liquid letro.. used it for a week and my sore nips went awaay 100% and i dropped about 13lbs of water weight i was carrying. I went from 225 to 250lbs in about 2 months hit letro and droped to 235ish and have maintained that. been going to the gym not losing as much fat as fast as I would like but thats due to my complete lack and no desire to do cardio. i'll eventually give in and start doing cardio.

What is "letro"? How did you know the dose? I'm new to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and in my 4th week...thanks.

It is a type of aromatase inhibitor which is used to block the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Do some searches on this website for Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and you can learn more about it and common dosages. There are other types of Aromatase inhibitor (AI). There is info in the Steroid Profiles section of this website as well up top on your screen.
