8 eggs a day

Boss Oyama

Big Puncher ;D
for the last few weeks Ive been eating 8 eggs for breakfast everyday. Yolk and all.
I just read on wikipedia that there is very little nutrition in the egg white when you compare it to the yolk. Cholesterol is really high though.

I decided to stop eating so many eggs. It was 56 a week.

Does anyone else eat that many eggs?

I eat about the same but usually 2 whole eggs and 5 or 6 whites. Sometimes in an omelet sometimes I'll eat just the whites from a hardboiled eggs. That many yolks are too many I think.

I used to eat around 6 a day, yolks and all. I never believed in wasting them despite what they say about the cholesterol. This was around 10 years ago though, and i never thought to have any blood work done to check my levels. Nowadays, i try not to do anything else to screw up the cholesterol balance in my body even more.

I eat a lot of eggs... I go through about a carton every 2 days or so. I eat the yolks of half of them.

well, what kinda diet plan are u on?

i dont see ANY REASON to eat 8 whole eggs.. even on keto i dont go over 6

My diet has been the biggest flaw in my training throughout my life. Now I just try to eat whatever I can get my hands on.
I live in Tokyo so I dont get enough fruit or veggies.

The following are the only consistent things I eat now.

-8 eggs and 2 pieces of toast for bfast (which I`m going to stop, not sure what to sub with)

- Random snacks throughout the day like peanuts and lots of bananas

-Protein shake, creatine and 3 bananas directly after training

-Rice and 3 cans of tuna for dinner... occasionaly a big fat steak

for lunch I eat whatever. Usually some kind of fast food. I try to go to subway as often as I can.

why cant u cook for yourself??? why not have a plan? get your bmr/tdee.. know how many calories you need, know what kinda macros split u need and try to reach that goal everyday... much better then dieting blind

I know Ive just been lazy with that aspect.
I cant always cook because Im busy.

I normally boil 4-6 eggs late in the evening as my last snack/meal before going to bed.

I sometimes eat the yoke of one or two of them. Dependent on what else I've had through out the day

Im on keto and usually eat 2 whole eggs for breakfast, and occasionally Ill have 2 more before I go to bed. I eat a lot of egg whites though.

Tokyo doesnt have a lot of fruits or veggies?

the rule is if u dont have some sort of diet plan then ur not gonna reach optimal goals... u need to be able to cook for yourself...

i work 60hrs a week, go to school full time.. i dont see my own bed for 3 nights in a row cuz i work nights and go to school in the day time..

lose the excuses attitude... u wanna get big and ripped, u gotta dedicate urself

:nono:I bet Boss has a bad case of GaS!! Listen to JJ, Quit being lazy that never gets anyone far in life.

Eggs are high in protein and healthy fats and may help to boost your bodies ability to produce testosterone, but not necessarily any more so than any other food. Eggs are a very good source of protein and they will not harm you if they are prepared the right way. The cholesterol in the yolk of an egg is harmless unless the yolk is broken. When the yolk of an egg is broken the cholesterol gets oxidized and therefore enters your body as a harmful fat. You can eat eggs as long as they are boiled, poached and sunny side up or over easy, but, not scrambled. The yolk of an egg contains lecithin which helps to dissolve the fatty content of the egg. As long as you don't break the yolk you'll be fine.
