ADVICE NEEDED: My Naposim cycle isn't working

I'm approaching the end of my 5th week now, and I've been taking 40mg a day for 12 days, and have downed 200 of those pills so far (100 more to go). I noticed a small gain (5 or 6 lbs) a week ago, and now it's gone. My body weight is back down to 175lbs now. Maybe due to my age (i'm 42) this stuff just isn't doing it for me. I have not been taking in a lot of calories or protein, and maybe that is the problem also... I was even thinking of increasing to 50mg a day, i'm not really sure at this point. My strength is also up and down depending on the days, and i can't tell if it's the drug or just me. Anyways i'm pretty disappointed and about to place a new order of Testoviron Depot or Deca Durabolin, (haven't decided yet). I'm really looking for mass but also strength gains at this time, which i have not be able to achieve with the Naps alone apparently. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

How to you expect to grow without an excess of calories? Steroids are not some magic potion.

Well i can reason with that to a certain extent. Everything i have ever read about steroids promise you will make exceptional gains. Then why bother take them and risk your health if you're able to make gains from food alone?
I met a woman once that was on steroids for a medical condition and put on a lot of weight just from use of the drug alone and was complaining about it.
According to what you're saying, i might as well eat more and forget about the harmful drugs. :doh:
 
i don't think you should be using aas. you need to do research first. you can make exceptional gains with aas, but you have to eat too. if you're starving your body then you're going to shrink or stay the same.

if you're overeating day in and day out then you're going to gain weight. it's simple math. Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) helps you gain a very large amount of muscle as long as you do your part of it. my last cycle i gained about 20-25lbs. i ate lots of pasta, chicken, beef, steak, veggies, protein powders, mrp's, weight gainers.... eating like a horse helped me gain that amount of weight along with the aas.

now when i eat like this off cycle i don't gain weight nearly as fast. i do gain, but not even close to the amount that i gain with Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) helping.

you should do more research on Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) before using it. get your diet and training right before using it. just some helpful suggestions.

Thank you! This is a much more plausible explanation. I ill try the increased calory intake and stonecolnto please excuse my stupidity. One more question: Should i not worry about fat intake and concentrate on more calories by eating anything or choose quality foods. Is McDonalds good? I know it's high in calories... and fat. Let's remember that i'm older too.
 
NOT MUCH PROTEIN= NOT MUCH GROWTH. Whats the deal with these guys? If it were as easy as just taking steroids, there wouldnt be any 175lb guys. Cmon bro, you need to lay off the gear and eat man.

Only after you have a healthy diet, workout, sleep schedule, and the ability to keep it consistent, will supplements help you. This goes for steroids as well. Of course, some supplements, like andro products, creatine, and protein meal replacements, will be of some benefit to someone who may not have everything in place but, they are still not going to help to their full capacity. You have to help them help you. You have to feed your body well, so they can be used to their full potential.

Steroids will only be a true benefit to a person who has paid the price of time and hard work in the gym. A person who hasn't, will certainly see gains after using a steroid correctly, however, the chance of them being quality gains is very low and the person will certainly loose the bulk of them. In short, nothing, not even steroids, can change the way you look in the long run without hard work and discipline.

This is for all of those guys out there like me that were misinformed on the benefits of steroids. :spank:
 
DO NOT EAT McDONALDS!!! that stuff is shit. i was eating it about 1 1/2 years ago for breakfast and lunch. i couldn't gain weight for the life of me. you need to eat quality foods like the ones that i mentioned. and remember that you need fruits and veggies also. you need a well balanced diet. high protein and carbs are good as long as everything you eat is clean. potatos are a great sorce of complex carbs. i personally like to make cool aid with dextrose (corn sugar) which is contained in most of the weight gainers. it's a simple carb though, so keep that into consideration.

for your next cycle (which i think you should wait atleast a year), do some more research on here and figure out what type of "stack" would be good for you. dbol only cycles aren't good. it sounds like you're using it for quite a long time too. it shouldn't be used for more then 6 weeks and 4weeks is the most common time of use.

a good cycle would look somehting like this. it's just your basic bread and butter cycle.

weeks 1-12 deca @ 400 mgs
weeks 1-13 test @ 500 mgs
weeks 1-4 dbol @ 25mgs

start your post cycle therapy (pct) two weeks after last shot.

some might say the doses are too high, but i feel this is a good cycle. you could get away with lower doses though, but you need to eat eat eat and eat some more. hope this helps.
 
steroids increase nitrogen retention, basically improving your body's ability to absorb the food you eat, so without enough food, they basically do nothing

No, I have not been taking dbol for too long. This has been my cycle so far:

wk1 - 10mg
wk2 - 20mg
wk3 - 30mg
wk4 - 40mg
wk5 - 40mg (the 5th week will be over this coming Thursday).

I was planning on sticking with 40 mg for one more week(week6). Everyone on here told me that i should stick to one dose and not taper(although i read that with steroids you should taper off toward the end of a cycle. But anyways, I think i will start eating more quality foods and up my protein and caloric intake as advised. I will stay away from McDonalds (this was just an example)i don't eat the stuff anyway, tires me out. What's wrong with starting now with deca or test? On the cycle you mentioned, do you do all at once or one at the time? Also should i add an anti estrogen? If so, should i do it now or after the 6th week of dbol. Thanks.

DO NOT do anything else.

Get off the D-bol NOW and run a proper PCT.

Spend the next few months learning all you can about steroids, perfecting your diet and training.

Actually bro it wasnt the ANSWER you were looking for. His input was spot on and its definitely what you should do. Have patience and do a lot research and you will be much more happy with your results if you decide to try a cycle.
 
Naposims rule, even when I was in the 260s 25mg a day gave me great results (not used alone). If they aren't working for you, you either got ripped, or your diet is in need of a serious overhaul. I spent my early workout years paying no attention to diet other than some protein intake, which was still not where it should be - rule #1 is diet. Diet is your master, love it or hate it, if you dont know it your body will reflect that.

with this cycle, you would run it all at once. week 1 is the start for everything. so on the first week you would take in 500mgs of test, 400mgs of deca, and 175mgs of dbol (25mgs every day). does this make sense now?
