anyone ever try the 2-day fast formula?

this 2-day fast formula was recently brought to my attention and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it. Obviously it's not for you if you're in the bulking phase, but it's essentially a shake that you consume for a period of 2 days which replaces any and all food for that period of time. It's supposed to allow your body to stop breaking down food so your natural calorie-consumption machine can get caught up, giving your body a kick-start to uninhibited fat burning when followed by a strong diet and workout routine, as well as cleansing the body of harmful toxins. I know it would do well for me mentally, I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with the practical aspect of it???

well I just finished it, actually extended it to almost 3 days. Dropped 6-7 lbs, now I'm following it with a super clean diet. we'll see if it was worth the torture

My girlfriend brought it to my attention, I believe it's part of the suggested regimen for p90x which is where she got the idea. I figured I'd give it a shot, if it doesn't actually cleanse me of toxins and kickstart fat burning then it will have at the very least gotten me on the right track mentally to start and continue with a super super clean diet.

it was basically a flavored powder containing a small percentage of carbs, potassium, sodium, fats etc. that you drink 3x a day. Just had to stay busy to take my mind off the fact that I couldn't eat.

fuck bro i couldnt do that, no food? thats gotta be hard. hows this going for hyou now anyway? worth doing?

Yea i was surprised I went 3 days, it was hell. I put 3.5lbs back on so technically I dropped about 3-4lbs. I feel good now but it's hard to tell, I'll keep track of and update any fat loss over the next couple weeks and see if I got a proper kickstart.
