Broke the tip off a 31ga 5/16 insulin pin, first time.

Didn't break it off in my belly but when I finish my injection I drag the tip a gross the bed to fold it 90 degrees then I push the orange cap over it and discard it properly. This time the pin broke off and stuck in the bed, found it but it was hard to do so. Just an FYI, they aren't as flexible as you might think. Just be observant is all I'm saying. Thanks for reading.

Why don't you just recap it and put it in a sharps container? Or get a Needle Clipper?

Drag a needle across your bed? Thanks for the tip. I'll never do that after reading this...
