Bulking vs. Lean mass ......

5 weeks away from my first poke cycle.
PCT ironed out
Gear in hand (90% anyways)
just taking advantage of the next few weeks to lean out my diet and do cardio like a fiend.


My goal for this cycle is pure strength, but here is my question.

I am not trying to be a body builder.

Those of you who have done a few test cycles, do you see bigger strength gains off of just eating pure lean foods with very little fat or carbs, or do you see more strength gains off of straight bulking? and how do the two compare when it comes to keeping the size/strength after your cycle / PCT?
 
I noticed the best strength gains when I kept my diet relatively clean. I find that my body utilizes clean foods much more, therefore increasing my performance and allowing me to increase strength more rapidly. Most important in gaining strength is using a strength building program. I'd look into Westside Barbell, 5x5, or Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 if you haven't already.

I find that size is easier to keep than strength after post cycle therapy (pct). With that being said, good luck.
