Can someone explain why you have to wait 3 hours after eating to inject a peptide?

What the title says, why do you have to wait?

Is it because GH and Insulin share an inversely proportional relationship with each other?

3 hours would then be an arbitrary time to wait but would suffice for most foods, right?

What if I were to take Casein protein, which takes like 8 hours to fully digest, could I still just wait for 3 hours?

Or is that obsolete because protein doesn't affect the peptide at all?

Thank you.

The reality is casein protein will have no effect at all on peps and gh release.

What?

I thought you had to wait 3 hours after eating before taking an injection to make sure your stomach was empty and that you wouldn't block out the GH pulse and then wait 25-30 minutes to allow the pulse to manifest.
