caught in a struggle

i HAVE to lose some more wieght and i HAVE to build up more. i mean i have good muscle mass but need to lose that nasty extra fat. i have droped around 30lbs since christmas and have about 20 or so more to go but its the hard stuff to lose now. any suggestions on what to do since i need the carbs and all to bulk up more? i mean can i cut the carbs and fat and still lose the weight but bulk up?

You should focus your attention on one or the other. Rome wasn't built in a day- We live in a society where we want everything now. It just doesn't work that way.

Its going to take years to get where you want most likely.

that is true but i was wondering if maybe one or the other might help the other like if i focused on loosing weight first would i be better in the end or would building a larger body help losing fat more in the end. that was my main point. i new it would take years and i am willing for that to take place. just wandered if one would help more than the other first
 
I would just diet right now, drop all your weight to a pretty low body fat, and then see what you have to work with. Once you lose your excess weight and your at rock bottom you can only go up from there.
 
yeah, it's hard to tell without pictures but from the sounds of things you should diet a little bit and then bulk up when you are leaner.
