I was wondering what chemistry knowledge is needed or recomended to homebrew an what courses what u recomend for a student

Really, 99.9999% of homebrewing doesn't really involve "chemistry" as such -- you're not doing reactions. As long as you follow the instructions and are fanatical about keeping everything sterile, everything should be fine.

OTOH, a basic chem lab course would be good, if only to get you familiar with measuring and handling materials.

I don't know shiot about chemistry and I have been homebrewing for about 2 years now.
You need to know how to follow instructions and how to use a scale.

Of course, that cuts most people out right there.

yeah lol... but when you are making something you are going to inject into your body you tend to pay a lot more attention to instructions... at least I do :)
