Clean carbs..??

I need to get more carbs into my diet cause i wanna put on some more weight,,, but i wanna keep it so that i'm not getting too much fat in my diet so i can keep as low body fat as possible... i've said it before and i'll say it again, i'm terrible with my diet and know so little about it,, anyone got any good food idea's i should eat to get my carbs in but keep it clean???
 
Sweet potatoes are great, brown rice, red potatoes, malt-o-meal, oatmeal, etc....

NO BREAD OR PASTA!!!
 
Yams are also good (not a sweet potato ;) ). Wild rice is actually slightly better GI index wise than brown, if you can find it. I buy my rice in 50 pound bags, no wild rice that I've seen in large quanities.
 
The aforementioned ones, and also these....

lentils
black beans
kidney beans
pinto beans
soya beans
protein enriched pasta
 
Thanks for the tips everyone,,, hopefully now i can get a few more carbs in my diet, we'll see how it goes.
 
Even though they are clean carbs, if you eat too many of them you will still add fat. So don't only choose the lower glycemic carbs , but also monitor your proportion sizes.
 
does sweet potato give you guys gas? i havent been eating the amount of egg whites as i used too (using liquid whites now) and about 30 minutes after i eat a nice chunk o sweet potato, i start feeling bloated and clearing my work place of all life with noxious gasses
