I was wondering your thoughts on drinking coconut milk to gain weight/ lean mass. Someone said that they had taken as well as other people they have known and it put some weight on them in a short period of time. Anyone here taken it before?
 
very high on the glycemic index--lots of carbs, lots of sugar and fairly high in fat too. Not exactly your best choice if you want to put on lean mass.
 
Yea I was wondering that. The guy told me that he had drank it for about a month and had put on roughly 8 lbs. He said that his friend had taken in with the same results with very little gains in bf in the short period of time. Looking at the nutrition facts on it it looks like watered fat. Its safe to say that this would most likely just put on fat instead of help muscle?
 
Personally, I add more complex carbs to all of the usual protein if I want to gain mass, but I have horrible cholesterol, so thats my reason for avoiding the fat.
