The other thread about coffee brought this to me, always wanted to ask but never have.

Caffeine constricts blood vessels, so why do we want to drink coffee before working out?

People so no to nicotine before workout so why not coffee?

I love my coffee and drink it before almost every workout, cheapest PWO out there with lost of benefits IMO, but always wondering about this question.

We take arginine and other vaso-dilaters to, well, dilate our blood vessels and allow more blood flow and nutrients to the muscles for greater pumps and growth, so why drink coffee with may make us feel more energetic but in actuality effect gains?

a jump in metabolism.. a boost of energy will only help you work out that much harder.. in working out, even with coffee, your body is still going to get a pump.. yes, lets say that it has a minimal effect on nutrient transfer due to vasoconstriction.. but the pro's outweigh the cons in this situation..

i personally dont drink coffee.. i like tea.. but caffine is caffine..

my fav pre-wo is eca believe it or not.. i get amazing pumps and amazing workouts out of it, prob is that ephedra is not good for your heart, so you can only cycle it soo much...
