Does any body no a site or have info in regards to converting ml's to mg's to cc's to Iu's It's still a little confusing to me.

conversion from IU to mg will be different for every compound.

international units (IU) are units used to measure the activity (effect) of vits and drugs. each vit or drug is agreed upon internationally as to what kind of effect will be expected through the administration of 1 IU. conversion between IU and mg may differ for between he same substances since in preparation of these substances, there will be differences in activity between batches amongst companies.

examples:

45.5 ug of insulin = 1 IU of insulin
0.6 ug of penicillin = 1 IU of penicillin

Honestly, unless your thinking of using GH or Slin, dont confuse yourself with trying to figure out IU's. Just stick to the basics and know that 1ml = 1cc like SC already posted.

As far as mg/ml, that depends on the drug. Generally though, every different type of gear specifies what mg/ml it is on the label.

the only thing that i would be using IUs for is Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) that is mostly why I was curious

Just keep track of how much water you add. IE..I have 1500iu's with .99ml of water. So 1ml of water is also equal to 100ius on a slin dart (because 100ius of slin is 1ml). So that would mean that every 1iu on the dart (1/100ml) is equal to 15iu's HCG.

See?

Keep it easy. Take your total IU's and your total volume. Decide how much you want to use. Divide that by the total and multiply by volume.

EX 5000IU bottle 2ml Water You want 1000ius.

1000/5000 * 2ml = .4ml = 40ius on sline dart = 2/5 cc

if someone could clarify this for me that would be great. i want to know how many ius are in 1cc.

thanks

There is NO conversion of IU to cc or ml.

Suppose you have 5000 iu HCG, if you add 1 ml water, you now have a solution with a concentration of 5000 iu/ml......if you take the same 5000 iu HCG and add in 2 ml water, that changes your concentration to 2500 iu/ml....

Hopefully you can see that it is all dependant upon how much water/dilutent you add to the original IUs.

A cc (cubic centimeter) is equal to a ml (milliliter). They measure volume. For example if a vial contains 10 ml of liquid, that is the same as 10 ccs. A mg (milligram) measures the dose of a drug, A mg is equal to 1/1000 of a gram. A mcg (microgram) is equal to 1/1000 of milligram. An IU (International Unit) is also used to measure the dose of a preparation.
