If you were to run it alone... which I don't advise, you'd be better off running EQ alone. EQ is like a weak test, depending on your size you can safely run it at rather high doses.
I have never tryed it and perosonal would never try it or advise it but a lifting buddie of mine did run deca for almost 4 months w/o test for about 2 of those months and got nice gains runing d-bol and deca......dont know if he can get a hard on anymore but deca build quality mass over long periods of time.
This is the 5th time i've answered a post like this--- i actually am glad.
I ran a 16 week cycle of EQ only at 600mg per week. The gains i achieved were phenomenal in the sense that i was stronger, harder and put on good quality lean muscle. I cannot stress enough however that my diet was FLAWLESS. 6 meals a day, quality protein (chicken, steak, egg+egg whites,) with plenty of fiber and whole grain carbs and drinking a MINIMUM of 5 litres of water a day. Training was also immaculate. Apart from being off the EQ, NOTHING in my diet or Training has changed.
My point is, if you're lookin to maximize on a cycle of EQ without all the water retention of test, you can do so- just really have to maximize on ALL your aspect of training. My sex drive did not take a hit, Im a horny motherfucker, but i cant say the same will happen for you. Might be good to have some HCG on hand. And that, is my 2 cents.
everyone is different..run the deca by it self..see what happens..i have runn it by it self...2cc a week and it delayed my nut cummin out...but shyt it felt good longer..ya heard..
