Protein consumption is just one small factor when it comes to diet. Calories, carbs, meal composition and timing is key if you expect to have any hope of making significant gains. A few years ago I wanted to add 20 lbs or so but simply wasnt eating enough because I had appetite issues. After alot of reading and research and good advice, I finally got it together and put the weight on in what seemed like no time.
Proper dieting is a science and is IMO far more important than training or supplementation of any kind. If youre diet is off and you're uneducated about proper dieting, you're just wasting your time in the gym no matter what supplements or AAS youre taking.
If you havent started learning about proper dieting, start learning now. Lots of great info and tools out there. Years later, Im still learning. And Im currently using 3j who is terrific. You might want to look into it.
Good luck.
