With all the mis-info out there about AAS, I'd like to ask some of the experts to help explain the specific role of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) when "dieting". It seems alot of women get the idea that taking Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) will make them drop fat, because they hear/read about all the ladies using them while losing fat. What they might not realize is many of these gals are in a pre competition phase, or have very STRICT diet and exercise programs that they have been perfecting for a long time.
I understand that with added calories and correct training Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) may help increase LBM, but in a dieting phase HOW do Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) work? I'm interested in knowing how the drugs act to preserve muscle - or is this even true? Do they just help keep you out of a catabolic state? And, has anyone found they could INCREASE muscle while dieting with AAS? If so - how/what were you eating????? Thanks for the insight!
