some people say that eating dry oats when cutting it's better than cooked in water, because it dries you out, pulls the water out of your body...is this true or not???
Ha, I used to just eat dry oats because it was extremely convenient.
I know it might sound crazy but srsly drink extra water. Your body will tend to hold onto less if its getting water all the time. That and not going crazy on salt would be what you need.
Also some like mega dosing vit c to take some extra out. so the last 3 or so days leading up to show (or when you want to take a bit of extra water out) and take 4g-8g ed of vitC. 1-2g 4X a day.
It***8217;s safe, not like some other vitamins. You could take all the vitC you wanted and what would happen is eventually diarrhea lol but Im sure that would take a lot because I have taken that and some and not had an issue. Normally I only take 1g ed vitC (high i know but w/e I like it and its cheap so if I***8217;m pissing some away its ok.)
You cant do this will al vitamins for eg, VitA can be VERY toxic and even deadly at high doses.
So dont apply VitC rules to other vitamins.
Be safe and check them out first if you ever mega dose something (like vit B5 for acne some do and I have also)
No prob, VitC is VERY safe and will help out water bloat (but i rec some carbs and salt to keep muscles full.)trust me i drink alot...i mean "alot" of water and i don't use salt at all...i never been using salt since 2 years ago at all except what natural sodium it's on the food.Thnx for the info about vitamin C though.Ill make sure to do that before my contest![]()
ok thnx...but how much salt/day should i take.Im 9 weeks outNo prob, VitC is VERY safe and will help out water bloat (but i rec some carbs and salt to keep muscles full.)
Im sure you know about all this though, finding the balance.
GOOD LUCK!!
not for me! I rather blend them up in my smoothy and drink em down fast ;-)

Anytime I eat dry oats I feel a lot better than when I eat them cooked. I don't know about them pulling water out of you I don't see that. But them being flat and not cooked they are easier to digest.
