Ebrantil i.v. (urapidile) is a peripheral alpha-1-adrenergic blocking agent and central 5-HT-Agonist for the controlled reduction of blood pressure.

Ebrantil is a standard therapy for severe forms of hypertensive emergency, severe hypertension, refractory hypertension and blood pressure increases during or after surgery. It lowers blood pressure by reducing peripheral resistance. It can be administered as an intravenous injection, intravenous drip or continuous infusion by perfusor.</p>
