depends on the individual . if ur active and u train moderatly i would suggest one fatty carb meal wouldnt have much of an effect once a week.
 
Are you referring to a cheat meal? I think most people that aren't in competition mode have a cheat meal once a week and there is virtually no serious changes or problems, just don't make a habit of it and have a bunch of cheats meals daily...lol
 
I agree with diced about cheat meal and day.

My own 2 cents though

I recently read an article about a controlled test where scientists gave subjects a cocktail drink packed full of 3k+ calories in it.. With those who did not receive the actual calorie packed drink but believed that's what they received had a much higher metabolic over the next few hours..

Point being - believe every thing u eat is packed full of shit can actually trick u body into amount up ur metabolic rate.

Kind of a cool study, good to think on
