expired gear

a buddy of mine has a ton of expired gear about 130ccs to be exact and he said he would give me some to try this stuff has been expired for about 5 years...it has all been stored correctly at room temperature and everything is sealed. is there a chance that ther is any potency left. any info would be helpful. or is there any way to figure out how much potency it has lost

5 years is pretty expired man...a few months or even a year is one thing, but 5? I'd just forget it.

BTW, how you have that much gear and forget about it??

Amps or vials?
If it was ME, I'd still use it. As for potency, there will be some loss for sure.
What you can do is do a bloodwork, start your cycle, and two weeks in do another bloodwork and adjust accordingly. With some luck, it could still be up to 80% or so, but there is no way of knowing without testing.

I'm guessing it is 99% as potent as it was when it was made, unless it has been exposed to light or high heat or whatever.

If I recall correctly, I heard of a guy that found his deceased fathers gear from the early 70s. He used it and had good gains.

Id use it as an addition to a cycle because 5 yrs is a long time but Ive heard people using gear thats been over 3 yrs. I wouldnt dump it like I said but id wouldnt use it as the core of my cycle.

You could possibly get it tested

I remember reading somewhere that clear vials ~1year and amber vials ~3 years, but that may be just for consistent potency until aproximated times then degrade over time.

its amps and vials...there are 4 vials of cyponate...2 vials of prop...2 vial of enanthate... 18 omnadren...and 25 heptylates...and there were all kept at room temperature in a closet
