what types of foods and meals do you guys eat? I'm really just looking for some suggestions on what to buy at the market as far as mass building meals and foods. what's good? what's bad? whats cheap? etc. I'd appreciate the help and input

thanks

I hit up Costco and Wal-mart to try to get lots of good foods for as cheap as I can. Bulking can be expensive as shit unfortunately. I buy mass quantities of lean pre-cooked frozen turkey burgers, liquid egg whites, cans of tuna, sweet potatoes, lots of oatmeal, lots of wheat bread and wheat pasta. my new shit is Kentucky Grilled Chicken that KFC is offering. Insane protein and basically no fat and BS like the fried stuff. Check this out: KFC Kentucky Grilled Chicken - Breast nutrition information - Food Labels - DietFacts.com

I started buying buckets of the breasts and just eating them all day long lol. Good times.

Frozen chicken breasts from BJ's or some bulk store like that. Egg whites, couple bucks for a big bucket off old fashioned oats. You can get frozen talapia just like the chicken.

As far as vege's and stuff like that, im not a fan of all the canned stuff due to the salts, i like the frozen spinach and stuff like that.

your always going to pay more for fresh, canned tuna is a real cheap source of protein, body fortress is shit protein but its only $14 for a 5lb bucket.

thats all i can think of right now, hope it helped a little

hell yeah, thanks guys. I have a pretty good basis already I was just checking out what everyone else was doing. can we keep this thread going??? im curious to see what the bigger guys are eating and buying! and how much!!

i started whith my wife a "world tour of foods" last month it was thailand, now we make France... is interesting cause you could vary what you need.

the only thing i ask is to follow the % of the prot/carb/fat. but my wife is a great cooker!

i do prefer the greek food i think or italian. rizzoto, pasta, beef, olive oil, etc, obviously we make some addaptation for example, we eat just a lil feta, but we add low fat cheese, etc...

the problem with this, is to maintain a "reasonable" appetite...

as far as mass when im going heavy i shop at BJS.my meats: chicken breasts, tilapia, tuna, egg whites, extra lean steaks( Top round steak, Mock tender steak, Bottom round roast, top sirloin steak). carbs: brown rice, whole wheat pasta, whole wheat pita, whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, lentils. condiments i get bbq sauce, fatfree cheddar, ketchup, and many fatfree dressings. I always like bulking clean as you can see i dont like gettting to sloppy and I have my cheat day out of the week where i feel high off food lol

tight, seems you can't really go wrong with mass meals. as long as you are following the proper carb/protein/lipid intake and ofcourse Cals.

thanks guys

I was on a low carb diet and something I found very satisfying was diet A&W rootbeer mixed with some cream, or milk if you dont have cream.
also, a nice tomato based marinara over some stir fried onions peppers and mushrooms. Yummm!
And keep thinking positive, exercise and dont forget to reward yourself once in awhile...Friday night fish fry or something like that.
