TWO DAYS AGO I SHOT SOME T-400 1CC CUT IT WITH QV BOLD200 1CC ON LEFT SHOULDER,FIRST 6 HOURS MY SHOULDER STARTED STINGING LIKE A MOFO THEN IT STARTED ITCHING WITH A FEELING OF HOT COALS ON MY SHOULDER,SO I CALLED MY AUNT I TOLD HER I SHOT SOME B-12 AND I THINK IT MIGHT BE INFECTED,SO SHE GAVE ME A BOX OF ZITHROMAX-250MGS FIRST DAY TAKE TWO PILLS THEN TAKE ONE AFTER THAT FOR 4 DAYS,THAT SHIT IS STRONG IT CLEARED UP IN THE SECOND DAY,BY THE WAY MY AUNTS A NURSE/JUST MY 0.02 CENTS SO IF YOU HAVE AN AUNT OR A HOOK UP GET ZITHROMAX-250MGS FOR POSSIBLE EMERGENCIES,

Hey bro,
For what it's worth, I think that was wasted Zithromax. From your history, it is extremely doubtful that you had an infection. Why the panic mode? Any of these high concentration, high BA formulations will cause pain, which mostly likely would have cleared up on its own in a day or so. A real infection just doesn't come on that fast. Chill.

I can't say if it was in infection or not. But Fo SHO! Zithromax is the shiznit! My wife and I always call our doctor, who will perscribe it over the phone, when ever we have sinus infections. That stuff works immidiately and the wifee likes it cuz you don't have to take it for 10 days like other antibiotics.

i had terrible inflamation on my delts.....
zithromax is the shit!
why have a week of "hot spots" if you can clear them up in days!
i am a zithro fan...for these rare ocassions!

I think the point the doc is making is that antibiotics are over prescribed..... they only work on Bacterial infections and such.. everytime someone gets a cold they want an anti-biotic.. well.. most colds are caused by a virus.. so the anti-biotic is useless..

i had an abcess taken out before on my right quad,took me 8 weeks to get things back to normal,the doc told me if i would have caught it on time it would have been cured,now my leg looks like ive been shot with a 45-magnum!

It's HIGHLY unlikely you developed an infection in less than a day so the Zithromax was wasted and the pain probably would have subsided on its own Zithromax or no Zithromax. Not saying Zithromax isn't effective though.

yep and overuse of antibiotics leads to resistance to antibiotics

Yes, Zithromax is a great antibiotic, no question there. But if I use it every time I have a painful shot, the effectiveness ain't gonna be there when I really need it, eg, your quad abcess. Catching it soon doesn't mean within the first 24 hours!
