Getting the pin in...

I used to torture myself putting it in slowly but after darting it, that's the way to go.

put pin in fast and don't stop!
50% of the pain after solution is shot is from poor injects moving needle from being nervous tearing up tissues and also many try to inject way to fast like 3 cc's in 10 seconds to make quicker.

Do it slower and don't panic let pin sit and don't wiggle syringe and calmly slowly push in slow to allow time for allow tissues absorb solution without breaking a vein or tearing tissue.
I take about 30 secs to a minute to do a 1 cc

i dart that bastard in, i had a friend whos a paramedic give me an injection once, he rammed a 22g in my thi, but made sure the fluid went in 1cc every 10 seconds

This is definitely a situation where you DO NOT use the band-aid method! Nice and slow, making sure I don't hit any nerves on the way in, and push the plunger nice and slow. Like DG said, 30 sec. per CC. Plus, I rarely look while I'm doing it. Just can't bring myself to do that.

That's exactly right........, once you break the skin, there's nothing to it, whether fast or slow IMO. It is just that instant when you break the skin, nothing more, nothing less.

I do a lot of thigh shots and imo you have to go pretty slow there because of the nerves in that area. I've dinged nerves a couple times and I just cant imagine how going real fast would feel when I hit a nerve again.

i cant go fast, i would be afraid of breaking my fragile needle off in my leg (Well, if i had B-D i wouldnt have to worry huh DG ) i like to have contorl, and why you try to stab it in there, you rweally have no control, just hopin it goes well
