All this shit going on about customs letters has me thinking. I ordered from some of our friends overseas in China and after I Western Union the money They said it asked for my ID from the recieving end. Is this the norm and I hope Im just being paranoid. I know they ask if its over a $1000.00 but it was under $300.00. Any input would be apreciated.

you should NOT have to show id for anything under 1000.

i have seen a few post as of late about some people doing the western union transactions being pricks anymore.

if its under 1000 tell them to go fuck themselves

where i wokred we had to do the western unions, they dont require you show identification under $1,000, so i dont know why they asked.

They asked because they're a moron. Tell them you don't have it on you and then flip the WU order form over and point out the bold writing where it says "NO ID REQUIRED FOR ORDERS UNDER $1,000".

One of them, may be MG, is $900.

fuckem I showed it anyhow. I just didnt give a fuck at the time. But all this controled delivery has me thinking other wise next time.

theres a post about this on fitnessgeared. It says all transfers to China required i.d now, WU policy. China is hot because of terrorist activity

I sent to China 1 month ago and did not have to show ID

That could be true, but there's always someone willing to take the money and do the transaction. With out doing all the requirements, if it is required for China now.

You can no longer send over $500 WU to China without showing ID !

That's why I advise people to use MG :)
But he didn't even send $300.00

That's good to know that it's $500.00 to china
