Help and Opinions on First Cycle (Test-E) - All stats/current levels etc. included

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the forums after regularly reading content and posts on here. I hope that I can glean some quality information from you guys, and will greatly appreciate the help.

I am looking for everyone’s views on the cycle I am planning on doing and why. I have some details of my training and diet, and would really appreciate feedback/opinions/ideas on each (but primarily the cycle).

Firstly I will provide my stats and a bit of background.

80kgs/176pounds
Approx 18% body fat
Training since 20yo, several travel and ‘off’ periods, but generally very regular training.

I have had issues in the past few years with lack of energy, and low libido. The low libido has been more prevalent in the past 12 months. I have a family history of depression and have been on a low dose of medication for around 5 years (Valdoxan 25mg/day).

I have regular blood tests to check hormone levels etc. and am concerned with my testosterone decline over this period;

March 2012
Testosterone = 22.6 nmol/L
SHBG = 34
FAI = 66.5%

March 2013
Testosterone = 15.7 nmol/L
SHBG = 26
FAI = 66.4%
Free Testosterone = 370 pmol/L

July 2013
Testosterone = 9.5 nmol/L
SHBG = 24
Free Testosterone 220 pmol/L

As you can see the decline is rather obvious and probably accounts for the lack of energy and low libido. I am booked in to see and Endocrinologist in 1 weeks time to review this, and my guess is they will put me on some sort of TRT.

I have always trained with friends that are quite serious bodybuilders and regular users of anabolics, so I have always been offered them and wanted to try them one day. However, I wanted to put on as much size as I could naturally before considering it. I believe that I am now at that point, as I have not made very noticeable gains for 12m+.

My training goals are to put on some muscle, and primarily decrease my BF% to the low teens or slightly lower. I would like a slightly larger than avg athletic figure.

I want to start with a simple cycle, and my research on first cycle has led me to the following;
Testosterone Enanthate 250mg
10 weeks, 250mg x 2 per week (I was initially considering only 250mg/week but after speaking to many experienced people, everyone seems to suggest 500mg/week in order to see significant gains; opinions/thoughts will be appreciated)
Nolvadex from week 12 for 4 weeks 40/40/20/20

Is there anything else one would suggest taking with this? (Some people have told me that Nolva wouldn’t be required with this but I would much rather be on the safe side)
I also have a concern about possible hair loss – are there any suggestions as to what is available to help prevent this?
If I ran this for only 8 weeks would it be a waste? (I am going back to the states soon and may not have the time to fit in 10 weeks, and obviously I cant take it on the plane with me)

I train 5/6 days a week, with approx. 45-60m cardio each day. If anyone would like a breakdown I am happy to provide it.

My diet is generally very good other than occasional lunches/dinners out, and some social drinking (during cycle I will cut all of this completely). I would like to maximise the gains of the cycle whilst stripping bodyfat, so I may need to make some additions to my diet, but here is a breakdown of it;

Breakfast;
30g/1.05oz Rolled Oats
30g/1.05oz WPI powder
160g/5.64oz Egg whites
All of the above blended with water in a shake

Late morning;
150g/5.3oz lean chicken breast
75g/2.6oz broccoli
75g/2.6oz sweet potato

Early afternoon;
AS ABOVE
150g/5.3oz lean chicken breast
75g/2.6oz broccoli
75g/2.6oz sweet potato

GYM

Late afternoon/evening (post workout)
30g/1.05oz WPI powder
30g/1.05oz pure carb powder

Dinner;
200g/7.05oz lean meat (depending on the day, chicken, fish, steak)
100g/3.5oz broccoli

Before bed Snack/Desert;
30g/1.05oz casein protein

I am not sure how much more information to give here as I don’t want to scare you all away from reading it and giving me some feedback!
