Help me interpret my Pre-cycle blood work

Obviously the LDL and total cholestorol being high is not good, but i've since been doing lots of cardio and added fish oil supplement.

What about the "High" free testosterone? Is that a bad thing?

Where do i find Estrogen values?

Any other things i should be aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to drop some BF and work on your diet with your cholesterol being so high.

Besides that, solid natty test numbers.

Hi everyone, I am new here. does anyone know how to get private blood tests in Canada without going through the Family doc.

Have you ran a cycle recently, any prohormones or anything? Everything looks pretty good to me, except some of the cholesterol numbers. I don't think it's something to worry about, but i'd start looking into ways to improve your cholesterol ratio. I do know this, depending on your cycle, AAS aren't going to help those numbers.

Looks good. As said, work on the cholesterol numbers. a cycle will likely only make them worse. Try eating more soluble fiber and clean up your diet. Are you getting regular exercise?

I would recommend drinking more water too. Your creatinine, which measures kidney function, is on the high side.

No i haven't - no recent cycle (i've only done 1 cycle, test-E only, 4 years ago), no prohormones.

I haven't been doing much cardio at all and have been eating lots of saturated fat which explains my high cholesterol. That is already being taken care of.

One more question: I don't see anything about LH or FSH in the report. Is it listed under another name, or is it missing?

So high? It's barely borderline and HDL is great. Nothing wrong at all with those lipid values.

Can someone answer my question about LH and FSH? Do they go by a different name and are listed in my blood work, or are they missing?

They don't seem to be included.

This is totally natural? If my free test was over top of range naturally there's no way I would touch AAS.

Yes, 100% natural. I have only done one cycle in my life and that was 4 years ago. Can you elaborate on the free test? Is being slightly over the high range a bad thing, even though my total test is within normal range?

No, I think your natural test values (especially free T) are so good that I'd hesitate to risk lowering them.

Your IGF-1, on the other hand, is mediocre at best.

EDIT: Just noticed you joined in 2004 with 68 posts... fall into a crevasse or something? :)

Haha, yeah i definitely fall under the "lurker" category.

Looks like i need to do more research on IGF-1. Is this something I should supplement while on my cycle?

I would agree with most on here with natural test in the mid 700's at age 40. You are blessed. Unless you plan on working up to a level where you want to compete in the masters divisions in the NPC I would not bother with AAS. Keep checking it if it dips below 500 then go for it. Mine was mid 400's when I started.

The thing is, i'm a hard gainer. I'm skinny, and it's hard as shit for me to put on muscle. Always has been. When I did a Test-E cycle 4 years ago, though, i definitely put on a lot of muscle! (And kept a lot of it).

If your naturally thin then you have a quick metabolism. Check the thyroid. But even if it's hyper. In this game that's actually a blessing you just have to train yourself how to eat enough clean calories to grow. You have to eat even when your not hungry. You eat because its time to eat not because your hungry. You will learn which proteins and carbs digest easier. I use Bromaline enzymes as well as probiotic enzymes to make sure nothing holds me back from getting all the meals in. From my experience i have learned that the lower fat I eat the easier it is to get it all in. It takes longer to digest fat plus it slows the metabolism. EAT!!!!!!!! but eat mostly clean.
