Hey yall,need some support...seriuosly!!!

Bullseye Forever

Prince of Darkness
Sorry Mod's,this may be in the wrong forum,if it is please move to appropiate one,

I just found out that my 3 main cardiac enzymes were highly elevated,i had a whole blood panel done friday, and got my results back earlier this week,

Been having shortness of breath, and weezing latley,my EKG was abnormal and the heart enzymes,CK-MB,Mycoglobin,and Triponin was highly elevated, well the main one Triponin was normal, but the other 2 was really high, which is questionable for a heart attack and heart muscle damage,

I dont know anything about these enzymes, but i learned its a pretty serious deal,i wanted to tell all my friends and brothers on here, cause yall all are my true brothers and i wanted to ask yall to have me in your thoughts next tuesday the 22nd,im having a Lexo Scan and a Electrocardio Gram done,to see if there is damage to my heart....and damage to my kidneys, with these enzymes being high theres a good chance of permanent kidney damage or failure...

Seriuosly,im scared,i dont want to sound like a cry baby, but i just want my brothers backing me.....i would really appreciate it yall,it would mean alot to me......Bullseye

Holy hell!! I'm not even religious but I'll def pray for you and keep you in my thoughts! You can pull through this brother!! You're a strong man, and much bigger than your body and heart gives your credit for! I send my best wishes, I know you can pull through this brother!

thanks big brother!!!!! makes me feel better!!

Bullseye, you in our thoughts and prayers. This can be a very serious issue depending on the severity of the diagnoses. Best to not worry if possible. There are med's to regulate these problems. You will likely have to add 2 new med's to your daily, and change your BP med to Lopressor (beta blocker), which helps control heart functions or a calcium channel blocker. Hang in there. Talk to your MD about cardio exercise... now might be a good time to shift focus. Let me know if I can be of help.

thanks brother,im already taking Lisinopril and Bystolic( a beta blocker) and my blood pressure is good, and it was the day i was blood tested.....also all my other lipid test was good, cholesterol, kidney function etc...my HDL was just a tad low,but not bad......

i did learn that these enzymes, well esp the CK-MB and the Mycoglobin,if they were elevated, could be caused by muscle damage either by surgery, accidents, weight lifting etc,she did tell me that much.....hence i had shoulder surgery back in jan...and had problems with nerve block and ended up in the ER and in the hospital for a week and my BP spiked to 278/175 because they cut a nerve when they gave me the nerve block or the surgeon cut a nerve while operating....but i dont really know

i dont have chest pains,or hurt or anything,my EKG was abnormal but chest xray was good, she said that the EKG might possibly be abnormal because of my size of my chest, hell i dont know

Ya... we talked about your BP meds a while back. They might change the meds... I'd ask, typically, you wouldn't take an ACE-Inhibitor (lisinopril) and a Beta- blocker. They might want to change the Beta-Blocker to Lopressor. I'd ask my MD, see what he/she says.

Did they mention what was abnormal about EKG? Ask them about your QRS Complex... jot down any info, I'd be interested to hear what they say.

Sounds like your overall health is good, I'd ask about cardio exercise.

well she said my EKG was abnormal because of my size, having a bigger chest may have caused it to be abnormal,i dont know, she didnt seem really concered about it,or at least thats the way i took it,and i do cardio 3 days a week,so im fuckin lost..and no she didnt mention the QRS Complex

well my cardiologist put me on the Bystolic to help with my heart rate,im only taking 20mg of Lisinopril and 5mg of Bystolic....

funny thing is ive never had blood pressure problems at all, never in my life, until after my surgery back in jan, when it got to stroke levels

Wow, thinking about you. Not quite the same here but during my pregnancy I developed a heart murmur and I had to get a heart scan, too. It was all fine in the end, no abnormalities, just something I developed from carrying around my baby bump and the extra blood flow. The thing I had to do was just remain calm. That's all you can do until you know your next course of action.

Take things a touch easier but try not to worry for now. ;)

ps: could you pm me your email address again, I bet a few updated pics of my bubba will put a smile on your face xx
