HIIT vs Cross Fitness (Weight-training/cardio). Which one to choose?

I know this is similar to Gsr's post mentioned earlier, but I am still stuck on which one is more effective on keeping your muslcle mass whilst losing weight at the same time. I understand that you are going to lose a little bit of mass as far as cutting weight goes, but I see so many advocates for each one over the other that it's hard to choose. I have recently been leaning towards the Cross Fitness with full body workouts Mon Wed Fri followed with 2-3 mile light jogs on Tuesday's and Thursday's to help cut the weight a bit faster. I've been limiting my carbs with a lot of Fibrous foods but maintaining a high protein intake (200 grams) per day to avoid any losses. What do you guys think?

I've been trying to do HIIT while on empty stomach first thing in the mornings. I'm assuming that is a great way to jump start the day, then do the cross fitness cardio later on.

They both sound fine. Keep a close eye on your lifts and the poundages you are lifting. This is a good way to gauge how much muscle mass you are keeping or losing. Old post but i'm sure this will some people out.
