how much is too much

how much protein is too much to consume at 1 sitting?lately i've been trying 3 scoops of protein to see if i could do it without gaggaing or getting cramps when i do it with water it comes out to60 grams with skim milk its like 70-75 is this too much too do ?ussally do it 2-3 times daily
 
I don't know this for a fact but I've heard about 30g of whey protein can be digested at one sitting and about 50g of other protein sources. Again I don't know if this is true or not but I've always heard this.
 
30g is kind of a myth
30g is a good amount i guess but i don't tink there's a set limit, your body will assimilate protein differently depending on whether you've worked out or not and it's different from person to person

how much protein are you shooting for per day? devide that by 6-7 meals and try to aim for that

There's no magic number of what can be absorbed at one sitting. We are all different and can handle different amounts at one sitting.
If you are going to try to take in that high an amount at one sitting, you may want to take some ginger root along with it to aid in digestion. I personally would stay around 40 grams at a time.:)
 
i personally take in about 1.5 to 1.8 grams of protein per day divided over 8 meals, works for me but as you know everyones different
wt250lb=375g protein a day is my average
 
Protein absorbtion (or any nutrient for that matter) would depend on 2 things - clean stomach lining and intestines and quality unadulterated whey protein powder consumed. I take about 40g per serving with filtered water on an empty stomach except right after workouts (I up the protein to 60g then). I also take small fiber tablets twice daily (early afternoon and just before bed) along with my other supplements.

The key is the amount of clean lining in your system to absorb theprotein. It will not matter if your taking in only 15g protein if you're not doing everything you can to help the body digest it properly. If your interested in more on this, research Jay Cutler's dietary habits. You'll be amazed at just how hard he works on keeping his internals in top order.

i would recommend a series of colonics for keeping the internal organs clean. youd be amazed at the amount of shit that stays inside the colon. it can get to be the consistancy of cement and this is what ultimately causes cancers and tumors. the shit will dig tunnels from the weakest part of the colon or intestines to the weakest organs first and is the number one cause of illness. anytime you are sick, the digestion is affected. you are either constipated or get diahrrea. sickness and bad digestion always go hand in hand. its good to know some of these pros are conscious of the health risks and do something about it.
