Injecting air

I had to do an inject early one morning and forgot to get rid of the air in the syringe after changing the pins. I ended up injecting about a quarter of it before I realized what was going on. It has been a painful lump ever since (more than a week) and is getting hot to the touch. Advice?

I am thinking of sticking the spot again and trying to draw the air, or whatever else comes out.

Dude air is fine, as long as your not inside a vein. I use 1/4cc of air or so to get all the juice out of the pin.

You are reacting to the gear, not air. I get "warm to the touch" from high mg/ml stuff, so I use cutting oil.

If you aren't dead while you are typing this you are fine. I try and get all the air out personally. But as long as not in a vein. You are good.

Possibly but I use only Upjohn test and I've never felt a thing from it before.

I probably had about 2cc total in the pin, so I injected anywhere from 1/2cc to 1cc.

If your skin is getting warm to the touch it is because you likely have an infection. Perhaps something wasn't clean.
I'm a moron, the other day I forgot to change my pin after pulling. I have left it overnight after drawing, in order to have it ready for the next day. Forgot to switch the needles. Entering my leg was the 3rd time it had been used to push into something. Needle(ss) to say, my leg is quite sore today... :(

I'd suspect that you have a potential infection though - my mom recently was at the hospital for an animal bite, and they said that if the skin gets warm, it is the indication of an infection.

Hope you get it looked after / resolved quickly.
