What injuries have you guys sustained from body building?

I have only hurt myself once. I tried that SC Calf program. I did it a few times on the seated calf raise machine and had no problems. Well, about a month ago I tried it on the standing calf raise machine and I got fucked up. I couldn't walk for 3 days. I ACTUALLY COULDN'T WALK. My calves were engorged with blood, they felt like rocks. I couldn't straighted my legs or dorsi flex my foot. If I needed to get around I had to walk on my tip toes with my legs bent at a 90 degree angle. I looked like a retard!!! After about 5 days, I could walk normal, but it took about 7 or 8 days for the pain to totally go away. Maybe next time I will take it a little bit easier.

Shit that is funny bro.Shocking a muscle is one thing ,but overdoing it is another.Doing heavy forearm work has caused my muscles to lock up when bending at the elbow. As far as injuries goes I would have to say shoulders.Really heavy incline barbell presses ,with the bench at too high an angle, severe stress was placed on the front delts causing injury. Now I know better slight incline for Barbell or Dumbell presses.
Other no no excersises in my book are Lat pulldowns behind neck.
Shoulder presses behind the neck as well .You rotators will suffer if you go really heavy on these movements.........
Sorry for rambling

Now that is fuckin' funny !!!

Sorry......but I can't stop laughing !!

bro i think you'll think twice now about doing that again huh? fucked up injury man. as for me, only injury i've ever had (well, serious injury anyway) was the ol' fucked up rotator cuff. it put me out of lifting for a while and it was demotivating as hell as well. put me out of the lifting game for almost a year.

I really don't know what happened, but I will try it again with less intensity. I'll have to slowly increase the intensity next time.
