*** you may use crystal light in your water if you would like***

No problem. It's my cutter pre contest diet, it's help me shred for sure. Pretty brutal, but results quickly

fantastic diet man!

Nice diet for cutting but what would an example keto diet for bulking look like?

Read up on keto diet diets and alot of articles say to carb up fri-sun and keto mon-thur.

training should only be 3times a week wed, fri when the carb up begins and sun the last day of carb up.

thought bulking lean mass keto was just high protein/fat and low carb. Not adding carb up days or adding carbs pre and post workout. Though I still believe in pwo carbs though.

can anyone share any light, all getting a little confusing. Might just go back to the high cal, protein, carb and fat bulking diet as usual :tounge2:

yeh i know u need carb for pure mass bulk, but i want quality lean mass this time and think the keto diet would work good, plus I just want to try it, see what happens and how I look.

just confused on whether to add carbs, or even carb up days or just stay keto all way through.

lots of conflicting evidence on it like most things ha

about how many calories would this equal out to be?

Here is a keto bulk diet I have followed with great results:

Meal #1
60g whey isolate
2 tbsp natty PB

OR

6 whole eggs and 4 egg whites

Meal #2
8 oz Chicken (cooked)
1/2 cup raw nuts

Meal #3
60g whey isolate
2 tbsp natty PB

Meal #4
8 oz Chicken/Turkey/White Fish (cooked)
1/2 cup raw nuts

Meal #5
8 oz Beef or Fatty Fish (cooked)
Green Salad w/2 tbsp oil & vinegar
(w/ raw nuts or natty PB if you need extra cals)

Meal #6
60g whey isolate
2 tbsp natty PB

OR

6 whole eggs and 4 egg whites

If you need more calories to bulk up, as this can be very close to a cutting diet for most people, up the calroies from fats. BUT, do not go above 1 cup of nuts or 6 tbsp of natty pb in one day as this would be too many carbs for most to be able to remain in ketosis. If you need extra fat cals stick with adding additional oils i.e. EVOO or mac nut oil.

I would personally follow this at least during the week and have 1 cheat meal or 1 cheat day over the weekend. I would try to keep the carb meals contained to an 8 hour window over the weekend even if you're bulking up.

I just finished a keto diet. I only ran it for 7 days. I had an issue staying in ketosis for the first few days. I am not sure how accurate the ketosis strips are. I ran about 3500kcal a day with 0-30g of carbs a day. At the end I tried a glycogen supercompensation with great results.(picked it out of a book i read). I would be curious to try this on cycle after the results I saw in just 7 days natural. I have heard of guys running the ckd for months.

Some people run it all year round...I just don't like it for bulk because I don't see gains...Its excelent to cut though

For myself I only find its useful for maintaining muscle and cutting off those last few pounds. I would run it longer, but the diet gets annoying and I would worry about health issues with a fat intake that high for a long period of time.
