I know its for ratings but WTF! I don't like it and not sure its good for the UFC/sport but you can bet people will tune in and rating will be sky high. I'm not saying he's not a tough dude w/some natural punching power/skill but his last showing kind of branded him as a joke/fake.. ya know. Anyway The article below lines it out.. feelings, comments????

OH, also heard that Bobby Lashley possibley tried out.. anyone else hear anything on that?? Now that I wouldn't mind. The guy seems genuine and was a bad ass collegiate wrestler so you know he's got true skillz.
 
saw bobby lashley fight in the MFC. He is a beast. Be really neat to see if he does turn up on the show. kimbo... well. 6 weeks in the house could help his fight game a whole bunch.
 
I remember Dana White bad mouthing both of Lashley and Kimbo about being nobodies etc. It will be interesting how much he hypes them up if they have any success in the UFC.
 
Let`s hope they match Kimbo up with the weakest guy in the prelimes. Nothing could be worse for TUF than having Kimbo not even make it into the house.

As far as Bobby Lashley. I heard that he doesn`t want to go on TUF and would rather work his way into the UFC by winning in the smaller organizations.
 
I thought I heard they weren't going to do the prelim fights.. i heard the 16 picked will move right into the house for this one.
 
Rumor is that they are having 16 HW's and they all go to the house. Supposedly this was announced BEFORE Kimbo was brought onto the show.

Maybe the talent pool wasn't as deep as they wanted to be able to run the prelims.

IMO they need to cut back on the TUF shows so there is better competition. You always have 1-3 good guys and the rest are way way behind. And usually its the wrestlers who are the best because of the years and years of training they have prior to MMA.
 
I'm actually surprised they can't get a better group of talent. They are so many local fighters out there, and with so many training camps they should all have up and comers to pick from. They end up with duchebags like Junie Browning and his little brother. Then Rashad Evans brother and Clay Guida brother, neither could make the pre-lims, sad.
 
I'm intrigued to watch it. I want to see how the other guys and the coaches treat him and I think it will be interesting and I can see him winning a couple fights. I think the chances of him winning the show are about 100-1 but I'm sure there's gonna be some sloppy guys that would try and bang with him.

As far as Lashley goes, he's looked very impressive in his first couple fights and I can't wait until he gets better rounded and comes to the UFC. He was a great college wrestler and now has crazy size. He didn't try out for TUF though. TUF does have 4 former NFL guys on this year though and the show focused on true HW's, not 230lb guys that were gonna drop right after the show. I think taping started June 1st.
