This forum seems dead. I am an avid MMA fan, anyone else here the same way?

What were your thoughts on the fight? Impressed with Shogun returning to his Pride days? How long will he hold the belt since he is either getting Rashad or Rampage next?

i see Shogun smashing either rampage or rashad tbh. rampage cant deal with the leg kicks, and rashad doesn't quite have the hand speed...

now shogun vs silva... assuming silva makes it past sonnen and belfort..

Vitor belfort will smash Anderson silva, I can see shogun fighting rampage, they fought in Pride and shogun Fucked him up.

I'm a pretty big rampge fan, so hopefully he will get past Rashad and learn to check a leg kick. But I also agree about vitor smashing Anderson, I was pretty upset when that fight was axed.

I'm glad Machida got knockout. He's a good fighter but uninteresting. Kinda a point fighter IMO. Shogun is going to stay on top for awhile I think.

both machida and shogun are faster. hes up there, but hes not the fastest.

After the first fight, I couldn't wait to see Shogun win, and I was loving every split second of it.

He can probably stay on top for a while, but MMA keeps producing a higher and higher level of athlete all the time, so who knows. Besides, there's plenty of room for lucky punches in MMA, even more so than boxing, so in any fight anything can pretty much happen.

I hope he does well, though. He really deserves it.
