after finishing my last week of a cutting cycle I'm pretty satisfied with my results. My daily calorie intake varied throughout the cycle as i started off at a -300 and at times dropped it to -500 and sometimes as low as -1000. I always kept protein high at around 1.5-2.0 g/lb. I had planned to keep my diet really strict to begin with, but throughout the cycle i struggled pretty bad with bloating despite cutting, carb cycling and keeping a low sodium intake. the bloat only encouraged me to eat as clean as possible so my main sources of food were vegetables, chicken, salmon, and raw nuts.
Now that i'm approaching my PCT I was wondering how my diet should look (particularly the protein intake) I know protein should be high when on cycle because the juice really helps synthesize protein, but during the PCT my test is going to be low, so i was wondering if all that protein would go to waste? should i replace it with either fats or carbs. also, should healthy fats be high, because they have an effect on hormones.
quite frankly, i'm a bit tired of eating all this meat, and would like to eat some other foods.
BTW should i bump up to eating at maintenance during this phase?
