Hey fellers just been reading around looking to see how many calories I should hit to bulk up for the next 5 weeks with my cycle. I been using the calculations on Harris Benedict Equation and found to maintain my weight I need to hit 2843 calories ED. In order to bulk up I add 500 calories ED more so I come up with this diet plan just want to see if im on the right track.
Below is the calculation I come up with by having 7 meals a day eating every 3 hours and will separate carbs and fats.
270g Protein = 1080 calories
360g carbs = 1440 calories
90g fats = 810 calories
Total = 3290 calories ED
Types of foods
Protein - Chicken, red meats like steaks, eggs, cottage cheese, beef and turkey.
Carbs - Brown rice, wholemeal pasta, wholemeal grain bread and oatmeal.
Fats - Olive oil, almonds, avocado cashews and walnuts.
Also will add a small portion of veggies in each meal such as broccoli, green beans and mixed veggies and water.
Thats pretty much it so again according to Harris Benedict Equation to maintain my weight I have to hit 2843 calories ED and about 500 more to bulk up. I added about 447 extra calories but I will be using supplements such as weight gainer (carbs) and protein shakes pre and post work out and maybe throughout the day. Also will add veggies as mention above with every meal and isn't included in the calorie count so will definitely hit 500+ calories more.
So am I good to go or is there something im missing?
