Hello all,
I am new to this! My boyfriend is on here all the time getting info for me
Im going to be starting a cycle with my boyfriend and I want to know is Ill be
taking anavar but im also on Birth Control pills........
So my question is how is taking the pill going to affect the anavar and my estrogen levels in my body??

Thanx:worried:

The pill will not affect the anavar but it does cause estrogen levels to be higher in the body.

Anavar will also not affect the pill unless done in crazy crazy doses so no worries.

If you are worried about estrogen and fat you may want to go off the pill but I suggest you stay on and see what occurs. Some women can get crazy ripped on the pill and others will not. It's genetics.

So i will be ok with taking my birth control that gives me estrogen and the Anavar (var) ??
this will be my first time taking Anavar (var) so how much should I take and for how long??
I was talking with my boyfriend last night about it and he said for my to try and get more info cause I just started taking this new birth control with estrogen! so Im just trying to get as much info as I can before I start my cycle! I wasnt taking any birth control when me and my boyfriend talked about starting our cycle in Aug! so now he is worried and so am I about the estrogen!!

Start at 2.5 to 5 mg Anavar (var) daily for 6-10 weeks. Take half at morning and half at night if possible. Try it on the birth control first and see how that goes....if you are quite lean and still have more fat loss go off the birth control.

If you don't see any results at 5 go up to 7.5 or 10....if you still don't see any results the ana Anavar (var) is bunk. That is after 6-8 weeks of course.

Good luck!

just out of curiosity, for someone of her stature,

5'6 107lbs what is (should) her rough calorie intake going to look like? Never Really helped set up a diet for a women on AAS.....

What is your goal in taking anavar? I would hope that you are trying to build muscle and build some strength. I hope that you are prepared for your weight to go over 107 lbs. At your height, you will probably be stronger and healthier if you are at least 120 lbs.

How long have you been training (cardio included)? And, how long have you been lifting weights?

You will need to increase your calories while running the anavar, and eat a high-protein diet, along with doing a consistent weight-training program.

I looked up the Harris-Benedict equation, and it looks like you will need to eat around 2,250 calories/day on cycle in order to build muscle while on the anavar.

The increased calories should come from healthy, but calorie-dense foods like additional meat/fish/eggs intake. Olive oil and nuts are other good ways to take in calories.

I realized I've never posted here before, but I'm female and I've lifted (natural) for a couple of years and done cardio stuff for years.

I don't really know anything about the pill, except that the estrogen levels can be a problem for some gals, but not all.

Her rough calorie intake....if she wants to build muscle take 107 and multiply by 17-18. If she wants to lose fat take 107 and multiply by 12 or 13. If she wants to maintain take 107 and multiply by 14-16.

These are just rough ways to figure it out. She will eventually figure out her what works for her. Some people are hard gainers and have to multiply their weight by 19 or 20. Some 16.

I want to gain muscles!!
Sorry im new at this so sorry if Im asking dumb questions, but were did you get the 17-18 at for gaining? and why are you multiplying it by my weight? My boyfriend knows more about this stuff, Im just trying to understand and find out info myself as well since he has never helped a woman before!!

Thank You so much!!

Believe me Sweet E....your questions are not dumb and you should be asking!

This is just an average that nutrionists/dieticians/scientists have figure out over the years.

The majority of people need to eat 17-18 times their bodyweight in pounds before they start gaining muscle.

I suggest you start at 15 for a few weeks.....see what occurs. If you are losing weight multiply your weight by 16....then 17...then 18. You will know which one works for you by trying. Once you start gaining too much fat as well stop.

In the end you just play around with what works.

Many women take a popular number like 1500 calories and start trying to lose weight with that because "celebs" and "pros" do it. For many women that is too low and they will in fact hold onto fat.

That is one of the reasons you take your own bodyweight.

A 100 pound women should be able to stay approximately 100 pounds while eating 1500 calories per day (multiply by 15). It may vary...1400-1600....it all depends on her metabolism.

She knows its early to be thinking cycling, but she sees me do it and the results I get/have made. Bad influence i guess.

Anyway, I have already had her eating clean for the last 2-3 months. oats, eggs, meats, veggies, and yes even walnuts here and there to bump up the calories on training days. She cooks her eggs in olive oil as well for a little good fats.

I am very proud of her...... in a years time of training with me, I made her get to the point where she had to throw out all her old jeans, because now they wont fit over her legs, lol. She has an ass now.
Love squats =)
She doesnt see it, but I am going to take a picture here shortly and show her how far her back has come along.

She was 95lbs when I met her.....

She doesn't expect to be Mrs. Olympia or anything, she just wants to add a little more lean size and keep a toned look. I don't think her goals are to far out of reach.
With both of us going at it together, it will make it a lot easier for her to stick to he eating regimen.

Awwww --

That's good of you! Make sure she doesn't get disappointed when she goes up from a size 2 to a 4 or whatever! A lot of times you can find some brands in the old size that cut the jeans better for a curvier figure.

I spent the day 2day helping out an older lady who has osteoporosis etc. She has always had a small frame and had pneumonia etc. even as a teenager. She has to get some sort of expensive infusion treatment every year to try to remedy the bone density problem. (I'm aware many years ago deca 50 mg/wk was used for that but medical establishment stopped this treatment). She is a tiny gal barely 100 lbs at 4'9," small frame, but she wishes she had had more robust health when she was younger. She's about 100 lbs but I didn't see her get 1500 calories today. Just barely met her though. Hope she eats more usually.

I wanted to mix her up a shake full of olive oil, oatmeal and whey and overfeed her LOL!

One thing that is really good when someone needs to eat a little more than usual because of increased activity levels (or ON cycle) is to try protein-rich foods that have spices i.e. Indian turmeric or curry on chicken, chicken tacos etc. etc. The spices or salt, perhaps with a little olive oil induce the "munchies."

Not so much sauces with fat/sugar but spices or even pepper and a little bit of salt as long as there are no blood pressure issues.

If you guys have an organic food supermarket close to you, they often have really good lunch buffets with "clean" eats.

Does she keep a log book of her lifts? That is a really good thing to do, and I'm sure it would get really fun/exciting while on cycle LOL.

I did not know spices could induce "munchies". It makes sense....better tasting things make you crave them even more!

I also think getting extra fats is a great way to get extra cals. A little amount has alot of calories and is quite easy to get down not to mention healthy. Although one must watch what kind of fats they get.

Yeah she was disappointed for a while when the scale kept going up, but I told her its part of it. you dont add muscle and the scale not move up a few pounds. She, like most other women (not all) I know bases it on what the scale says........ she will figure out "on cycle" what I mean. Granted I know its not going to fluctuate that much, but as her first one, she should make fairly noticeable gains.

She has indeed been keeping a log book for the past 6-8 months or so.

Indeed.....
I really started looking into more ways for extra cals versus hitting McDonald's or something while im "on" and found the olive oil and walnuts secrets :) a few a day is healthy and a great # increaser.

She has been using it for a few months now.

Thank you again BOTH of you for info, comments ect.....
