Newbee needs diet advice

Hey guys I'm new to the site and need some help. I have always been an active guy lifting weights and exersice. I've always been interested in power lifting and body building but never took the time or effort to take the step. Now that I'm a little more mature and dont go to the bar and drink every weekend I'm ready to dedicate myself. I was out of the gym for about a year due to personal reasons and bloated up. About six weeks ago I started lifting again and cut out alot of food(was taking in about 1500 calories or less) and lost 15 pounds of belly fat in 12 days(I eat more than that now). I lift 6 days a week and do about 20-30 minutes of cardio monday thru Friday. I have no idea what i should be eating and how many calories, carbs, protien etc. I should take in. I dont know much about any of this for that matter, but due to economic downsizing I've been laid off and dont have extra money to give to a trainer or dietician right now. Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated!!! I'm about 205lbs and 20%-25% body fat I would like to get my body fat down to around 10%-15% without sacrificing size.
Thanks guys

3J has a sticky post at the top. He'll request that you find you BMR and TDEE so you might as well find that out now. The formula for that is in his post as well. You'll need to find out you lean body mass in order to calculate your total body fat and BMR though. I used the caliper test personally. Some of these guys mentioned they have had accurate body fat test done at local colleges..

you should actually read through that whole first post in the sticky... its very important information
