whats the deal with food that has no nutritional value, like sugar free jello?? can i eat 5 tons of jello a day with no consideration to my diet??

diet soda only contains like 50mgs or so of sodium per 160z serving, so i can drink 5 gallons without any worries (except for rotten teeth)??

i try to consume btw. 1850-2000 calories and try to fall within 10gs a day of:
300 g protein
<75 g carbs
<50 g fat

im in a cutting phase, trying to drop some bf% and maintain leam muscle. I eat numerous small meals a day, starting at 5:30 am, and ending at around 8pm. but by 10pm im fuckin going nuts and starving, so i was tearing apart he cabinet a few minutes ago and found like 10 boxes of sugar free jello (my father is a diabetic so I always have sugar-free candy, cookies, jello, etc.. around the house for him)...

stats:
24 y/o
5-5
btw 182-178 lbs (depending on time of day)
15% bf

on 3rd cycle, 150 mg prop eod, ECA, standard nolva PCT.

typical day of meals looks something like this:

5:30 am - N-Large (3/4 serving) Shake

9:00 am - Turkey and 4 Egg whites on whole wheat with some tabasco

11:00 am - Low Carb Whey Shake, Low Carb Protein Bar

11:45 am - gym

1:00 pm - Low Carb Whey Shake, 2 cans tuna (in water) w/ LF mayo, mustard, onion, celery, pickles

3:00 pm - 8 oz grilled chicken, fruit (apple or bananna)

3:30 pm - walk or bike ride, maybe handball, some kinda outdoor activity

6:00 pm - 12 oz steak, 1 medium sweet potato, veggies

8:00 pm - Low Carb Whey Shake

but around the end of this till i go to bed (11-12pm) im still hungry and wanted to know what the deal was with these foods that have 0 calories, fat, carbs, etc....

sorry i dont know the answer to your question... just wondering though

do you work?
and what is your weight at now, i dont think you mentioned that

At the end of the day I am still hungry as well, but I try to stay away from many so called no-calorie foods. They are high in sodium, and other chemicals that aren't good for you in large amounts. It is better to ween yourself off of sweets, even fake ones. I drink bitter unsweetened iced tea after 8pm. The bitter flavor curbs my appetite for sweet or salty foods, it is natural, high in antioxidants and has O calories.

In the United States, if a 'serving' has 4.9 calories, then the manufacturer is allowed to put 0 calories, since the standard is 5 calorie units that can be rounded down. That's why splenda, which is sucralose (0 calories) and maltodextrin (sugar...it has calories) says 0 calories even though is is closer to 4.9 calories. If they increased the serving size, then it suddenly wouldn't be zero calories anymore.

Same thing with spray butter. Many college girls live off the stuff thinking it has zero fat. If they were to look at the ingredients list, then they might notice that oil is the first listed ingredient. But 1 spray is less than 1 gram of fat, so....

thx, good to know, so a nice bowl of sugar free jello here and there or a sugar free ice pop on a hot day aint gunna kill my diet basically, just add about 10 calories or so...

i didn't know that if its less that 5 calories it can be 0 .. interesting (assholes lol)

you work 5 hours shifts... hows the pay? tough work?

pay isnt bad, but im not considered a fulltime employee so i get no health/dental...grrrr...

its physical work, but i consider it morning cardio cuz im runnin behind the truck and doing light lifting, i dump the cans in a compound movement, draging it from the curb is like a bent over shoulder cable lateral, sorta bicep curl into a forearm reverse wrist curl to dump it into the truck if its 1 can, and 2 cans i double in a sorta standing dumbell fly with a twist movement, if its a bag of garbage, I hammer curl it a few times...

im not obsessed...
