i prob. gonna run winni for 6 weeks at 100mg /ed. this isnt my 1st cycle, i actually
had great gains and loved winni at 100mg/ed and anavar at 20mg/ed last
summer. heres my question or better yet post your opinions; I keep seeing
posts on boards ( im searching so i can post the links) that pople say nolva is
good to run while dieting down. now this doesnt sound like a bad idea as
ive heard people say that they feel thinner. also i have some fat depotits
which i feel are estrogen realted around the chest area. so im thinking that
the nolva might help with both. OPINIONS PLEASE

CEM is down right now, I've never heard of using it for dieting. I thought that was one of the 9 Nandi12's BB myths, estorgen doesn't cause fat deposits?

Weight gain after primary surgery for breast cancer--effect of tamoxifen.

Hoskin PJ, Ashley S, Yarnold JR.

Department of Radiotherapy & Oncology, Royal Marsden Hospital, Surrey, UK.

Changes in body weight have been studied in 92 consecutive patients with primary breast cancer from the time of initial diagnosis and treatment. Sixty patients receiving tamoxifen were compared with 32 controls receiving no hormone treatment. Weight gain was seen in both groups, but was greater in the group receiving tamoxifen. Premenopausal women receiving tamoxifen had greater weight gain than postmenopausal women on tamoxifen therapy.

Tamoxifen administration is associated with a high rate of treatment-limiting symptoms in male breast cancer patients.

Anelli TF, Anelli A, Tran KN, Lebwohl DE, Borgen PI.

Department of Surgery, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, New York 10021.

BACKGROUND. Although an uncommon disease, male breast cancer (MBC) will be responsible for 300 deaths in 1993 in the United States. Because of the high rate of estrogen receptor positivity in males, adjuvant hormonal therapy with tamoxifen in the adjuvant setting has been used widely. Little is known about the side effects of this estrogen receptor blocker in males. METHODS. The authors evaluated the side effects of adjuvant tamoxifen treatment in 24 patients (19 of whom were estrogen receptor positive) treated at the authors' institution between 1990 and 1993. RESULTS. Fifteen (62.5%) patients reported at least one side effect. The most common side effect was a decrease in libido, which occurred in 7 (29.2%) patients; followed by weight gain, which occurred in 6 (25%) patients...
