Nolva vs Aromisan for PCT ?

People advise using nolva over aromisan for post cycle therapy (pct) due to it's ability to raise LH levels ....and yet a recent study http://www.steroidology.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=102175
it was shown aromisan can raise The LH levels to a maximum of 81% at 24 h. And FSH increased by 49% at 24 hrs

In adddition:

Aromisan does not affect circulating serum triglycerides, cholesterol, or LDL or HDL cholesterol concentrations.

There were 38%, 71%, and 45% decreases in estradiol, estrone, and estrone sulfate concentrations. A 60% and 32% increases in testosterone and androstenedione concentrations.

So why do people continue to use nolva for post cycle therapy (pct) ?

lucky i wonder what would those numbers would be if you were using aromasin while on cycle or started it before the test cleared. i also wonder why aromasin does so? does something like letro do the same thing.

Conclusion
Before we close the book on Aromasin, it’s worth noting that you can (and should) still use one of the non-steroidal AIs during your cycle to reduce estrogen, if necessary. When you are ready for post cycle therapy (pct) , you can then switch over to Aromasin and still experience the full effects of an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), since there is no cross-over tolerance experienced between steroidal and non-steroidal AIs (9). Since Aromasin is about 65% efficient at suppressing estrogen (10), it’s certainly a very powerful agent, especially considering you won’t experience reduced effectiveness because of your concurrent use of Nolvadex or from any sort of tolerance developed by using other AIs on your cycle(9). There is also a decent amount of preclinical data suggesting that Aromasin has a beneficial effect on bone mineral metabolism that is not seen with non-steroidal agents, and it may also have beneficial effects on lipid metabolism that are not found in the non-steroidal Letro and A-dex (9).

Finally, as we’re going to be using Nolvadex anyway, and we ought to be using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) with it for maximum recovery…I think Aromasin- considering it’s compatibility with Nolvadex and beneficial effects on bone mineral content and lipid profile, has finally stopped being the black sheep of AIs and found a home in our cycles.

Use both. Aromasin doesn't replace nolva.

The fact that they recommend using HCG Post cycle makes me question their knowledge.

However I think Nolva + Aromasin is more like it.

The whole HCG for post cycle therapy (pct) thing is an ever-raging debate. I've seen some very smart people recommend it, but it still makes no sense to me. I wouldn't count out Deepglute's knowledge though.

You obviously want your LH levels back to 100% of pre-cycle levels ASAP, not just 81%. Using Aromasin and Nolvadex will help you to return to 100% pre-cycle levels of LH faster than using Aromasin by itself.

Yes, I did delete the post because it was a blunder on my part. I misread your previous post to say, "I wouldn't count on Deepglute's knowledge though.", rather than what you actually wrote, "I wouldn't count out Deepglute's knowledge though." It is probably due to the fact that AI's such as Liquidex are much cheaper and just as effective at preventing gyno-excessive bloat. Liquidex won't work during post cycle therapy (pct) because Nolvadex will reduce it's effectiveness. This is explained in detail in the article written by Anthony Roberts.
