OLD AS$ can't lose the belly grrrr!

Like many I'm not a fan of growing old. In the past a 4-5 weeks on a keto diet could get my stomach flat (you know when you can tuck in your shirt and feel great).

As I've aged this doesn't work so well and at this point I feel like without buttloads of cardio is borderline fruitless. My diet is solid for the most part:

I'm 6'1@2227-232 depending on the day:

M-Friday1 Cup steamed Broccoli
1 Cup steamed Kale
1/2 Cup blueberries
1TB pomengranate concentrated
4 cups green tea with stevia
12oz chicken breast grilled 1TB olive oil
2 Whey protein shakes
1 greek yougurt Plain
1 Muscle Milk Shake with 3TB of flaxseed
Lots of water
Good Multi
Diovan BP medicine
Red Rice Yeast for cholesterol
Vitamin D

I'm lucky to lose 1lb a week ;( this fluctuates 100-150 calories each way, but generally falls about 2050. On weekends I have freedom, but allow the calories to go up to 2500 and add 2 glasses of merlot.

I do 20-30min workouts HIIT with weights 3on/1off and walk 30 minutes a day with the kids.

Back in the day if I would be doing this I would be dropping 2+lbs a week. I gain weight super easy and can easily hit 255-260 eating a normal diet.

Input? Without going diehard Keto I'm stuck or need to add cardio.

As you age your TDEE drops, it's natural. Check your thyroid and testosterone levels see if your deficient. If not it's a matter of cals in vs cals out (assuming decent macros). If you're not losing weight or not fast enough you need to drop calories, expend more calories with activity, or a combination of both.

Sage advice from Dre as usual. Just wanted to add that adding muscle by (I know it seems counter-intuitive) focusing more on the resistance training than the cardio will help you more in the long term. More muscle will provide you with a bit more wiggle room as far as caloric intake and you'll be burning calories when you're not in the gym as well as when you're running on the treadmill like you stole something. You don't state how old you are, but it's definitely time to get those hormone levels checked if you're in your 30's+.
