Did anybody else watch that fight on WEC?
This dude has been undefeated for years. what an awesome fight, got knocked the fuck out and lost his belt. OUCH bro.:tounge2:

Yeah, it was crazy. def. unexptected for me. as soon as a guy starts getting a little cocky it seems he always gets it handed to him. alah, Matt Hughes!

I knew Bowles would hand him his ass, thats why I was torqued a few months back when he had to pull out because of a back injury. I knew Bowles was the only one in the division who could really threaten Miguels reign.. Brian is kind of the GSP of 135, extremely athletic and catches on to everything so fast!! I just NEVER DREAMED he would do it by KO in the 1st!!!!!!!!!!!! That shit was crazy.

@ 135 brian is a thick dude. he def has some power behind those punches. I see him holding on to that belt. Unless ofcorse the raged Torres miraculously shrinks 2 inches and puts on more muscle. I dont wanna talk shit, but was is up with his back, guy looks kinda like a turtle.

Torres is a bad dude, no doubt and a rematch will most likely happen BUT, I have a feeling it will be just like the Brown/Faber saga. Miguel will come in amped up, a little quicker, w/some improved footwork, etc, etc.. but Bowles will still win via decision the next time.

I agree. Torres is a bad little dude, but so is Bowles and I think he'll keep the title.

By the way that Brown vs Faber fight was fuckin awesome. Dude broke his hand and still whent 3 rounds. the guy has brass freakin balls. what a badass.

If Faber's hand wasn't broken, I think he wins the 2nd fight. He did rather well with 2 fucked up hands and absolutely would've finished that Darce choke in round 5 if he could've used his hands. Brown is a stud, but if Faber's hand gets better enough to train the same way, I got an Avatar bet with anyone that he takes the 3rd fight. He got caught being cute in the 1st fight and broke his hand all to shit in the start of fight 2. I usually frown upon a 3rd fight in a 0-2 slide one way, but this series is a little different.

I hope his hand heals to where he can fight again. If there is going to be a Faber vs Brown 3, that is a fight worth waiting for. I think Mike Brown is an excellent fighter, but Faber is full of surprises and in my opinion is a greater fighter. Since no one is getting a shot at Brown for a while, I wonder how far Jose Aldo is going to get.

They said Jose Aldo is getting the shot against Brown. Brown signed on last month, they just haven't set a date yet but I'm guessing it will be the one after Ceronne/Henderson. I say Aldo puts Brown to the test and has a good chance of winning. The only big advantage Brown has over Aldo (beside experience) is size. ..but Aldo is more agressive, quicker, mover explosive, and I believe him to be more technical overall.
