I was thinking if natural peanut butter and slices of bananas on some whole wheat bread is good for a meal that is not to fat but a little high in protein.
What do yall think?

Too much sugar, bananas are fairly high on the glycemic index as is peanut butter and bread. I guess its fine if you are on a high carb, high fat diet.

i love those sandwhiches but theres almost no protein in there???
PB is not a good source of protein and Bananas are actually on the lower side of the glycemic index i think theyre like around 52 on the GI

if you are trying to drop some weight then i surely would not be eating these..if youre bulking just make sure to take in some protein with it and once in awhile its not a big deal

Actually.....banana's are fairly low as is peanut butter. PB actually lowers the GI ratings of other foods when injested at the same time.

but that's still a high cal snack with low protein........but it's a great cheat. Taste good and it is pretty healthy.

Too little protein. Also I don't like mixing fats and carbs unless they are very low GI like green vegetables. Bananas have a quiet hight GI.

High in fat for sure, not so great in protein content...read the labels. Carbs are negligible in natty pb but bannanas are a good. I wouldn't eat this when cutting but when bulking, down a protein shake with it and you're set.
